Receptionist

SynchronyHR, a St. Louis, MO based Professional Employer Organization, is growing and is looking to add energetic, collaborative talent to our team. We are seeking a RECEPTIONIST who will be responsible for office supportactivities such as responding to customer calls and inquiries, performinggeneral office work, data entry, processing mail, and other projects asassigned to support Sales and Operations. The ideal candidate must bedisciplined and an initiative-taker; able to work with minimal instructionwhile managing multiple priorities and have superior customer service skills.Communication and follow-up skills are a priority. Must be friendly and detailoriented. This position requires the candidate to be on-site at our corporateheadquarters in St. Louis, MO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer main line phone calls and transfer according to caller’s needs.
  • Perform administrative support tasks for Corporate and Operational departments.
  • Greet people (clients, applicants, vendors, guests) entering office, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
  • Gather/distribute/scan/prepare mail or courier deliveries, including scanning mail to remote workforce.
  • Assist with mail and fed ex drop offs
  • Assist with preparing sales reports, collecting sales collateral and verifying accuracy of prospect details for quotes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software required.  Knowledge of teams preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment. 

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma
  • Two years of relevant experience
  • Experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Physical Requirements:

  • This is an office / desk position that requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Able to communicate, read documentation, comprehend, speak and type.
  • Able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Occasional walking distances of approximately 30 ft.

Hours of Work

  • Normal business hours are 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
